Great Northerns can be plain boring. Replace Navys or Great Northerns with Yellow Eyes and your dish becomes a feast.<\/p>\n<p>You can have them on their own or use them with a smoked ham hock. Also excellent for a simple vegetarian soups.<\/p>\n<p>These beans look a lot like Butterscotch Calypso beans but the flavor and texture is very different. The Calypsos have a distinct russet potato flavor.
